Chiltern Street

Radford Group have recently completed the internal fit out inclusive of dry lining and plastering to 44 luxury apartments in Marylebone. Part of the Galliard homes Platinum range of developments this high end project ran over a course of 18 months with an overall package value to Radford group of £2.3million. A Siniat specification driven by acoustic and contemporary details including shadow gaps to all doors, skirting and ceiling junctions.

Trident House, Hayes

Completed by Radford group in 2016, 98 number 1 bedroom apartments constructed as part of Galliard homes regeneration scheme in central Hayes over a 12 month duration. A 9 story high, logistically challenging project with a package value of 1.2 million pounds was completed 3 months ahead of programme. Fit out install carried out included Siniat specified partitions, mf ceilings, tape and jointing and Ecophon acoustic ceilings to communal areas.

Trinity Square, Hounslow

Running concurrent to Trident house was Central house. Again, as part of a Galliard homes regeneration scheme, this time in central Hounslow, Radford group undertook all dry lining works to 166 studio apartments. Siniat specified partitions and mf ceilings with tape and joint finish. Rockfon acoustic grid ceilings were installed to vast communal areas. Over a project duration of 12 months, Radford group managed to complete works well before programme dates, allowing Galliard homes to go to market earlier than anticipated. With a package value of 1.8 million, including building a great relationship with site team, this is one of our most successful projects to date.

St Mary's

The fit out of 10 bespoke luxury apartment’s as part of Galliard homes with a contract duration of 9 months. This was one of the first opportunities given to Radford group by Galliard homes in early 2015 which lead to cementing robust relationships between each party. £350k package value comprising of Siniat specified partitions and mf ceilings with tape and joint finish alongside render works to courtyard gardens.

Essex County Cricket Club

In 2015 Radford group completed the fit out of a new build 62 bedroom apartment development overlooking Essex county cricket club. Another logistically challenging project undertaken for Kier construction with a package value of £650,000, this highly specified, acoustically driven British gypsum scheme was completed on programme. Over a project duration of 11 months, Radford group installed all partitions, mf ceilings and Armstrong acoustic grid ceilings. With the help of Eos facades, an additional top floor was constructed by Radford group out of sfs.

Suffolk New Academy

As part of a Suffolk county council framework agreement with Kier construction, Radford Group were awarded a £700,000 scheme to construct all sfs, partitions and ceilings to Suffolk new academy in Ipswich. Over the course of 14 months and working alongside British Gypsum, Cep ceilings and Eos Radford group delivered this project both on time and within client’s budget.

Royal College of Music, Hammersmith

Radford Group completed all contracted works within our £1.2 million package in April 2016. Working for Balfour Beatty, this 400 bed student accommodation with in-house music studios was delivered in 13 months. A British gypsum specification included partitions, mf ceiling and tape and jointing. Grid ceilings by both Armstrong and Ecophon were also installed along with CDM acoustic flooring to highly sensitive practice rooms and communal areas. Alongside dry lining, Radford Group undertook all decorations.

Marston's Pubs

Working with Barnes construction, no less than 15 Marston pub schemes have been completed to date. With project locations nationwide, Radford Group still complete all fit out works within their £60,000 package in the same two week time frame as with the very first project, located in our home town of Haverhill. From Dagenham to Whitby, we have a dedicated team of operatives who always deliver these extremely fast track projects.

Travelodge, Richmond

One of several Travelodge schemes undertaken for Barnes construction, this 78 bedroom hotel in the heart of Richmond was completed in October 2015. With no storage space for any material on site, our team of dry liners, plasterers and decorators worked tirelessly with the site team to ensure the project was completed in time with no compromise on quality. Another logistical challenge met head on whilst delivering a £300,000 project within 4 months.

Student Accommodation, North West Cambridge

Our third project with Grahams Construction to date has seen Radford Group working on the new 150 hectare development at North West Cambridge. Another student accommodation with British Gypsum specification has seen Radford Group construct partitions complete with plaster finish along with the install of Ecophon ceilings to corridors and a feature, bespoke Hunter Douglas metal pan ceiling to the main reception area. This £600,000 value project was completed in summer 2016.

Ravenscourt, Hammersmith

A 230 bed student accommodation project with Balfour Beatty laid the foundation for Radford group going on to deliver and master schemes of this type in 2014. Comprising of 3 blocks and with our greatest logistical challenge to date, this fast track project was delivered within just 9 months with an overall package value of £1.3 million. A knauff specified project.

St Agnes place

Appointed by Quadrant construction, Radford Group have undertaken all dry lining works at St Agnes place. A luxury development in kennington comprising of 11 flats, 7 luxury apartments and 23 town houses, our works include dry lining and plastering. With a project duration of 16 months and a package value exceeding 1.2 million pounds, we hope our relationship with this client goes from strength-to-strength of the back of Radford Group delivering outstanding quality within programme durations.

Highfield School, Letchworth

Awarded in February this year and a continuation of our relationship with Kier construction for delivering county council framework new build schools, Highfield is due to be complete in mid-august. Already 1 month ahead of programme and with a package value of £750,000, this acoustically driven British Gypsum specified project will be delivered in just 6 months. Radford Group installation will include partitions, mf ceilings, feature light wells, feature bulkheads along with acoustic and hygienic grid ceilings.

Hughes Hall

Completed in 2016, Radford Group again worked alongside Barnes construction. This time in delivering an 85 bed student accommodation for Hughes Hall University Cambridge. Over 7 months, Radford Group undertook all metal stud partitioning, mf ceilings, tape and jointing, install of acoustic planks to corridors (Armstrong) and feature timber slatted ceilings provided by Hunter Douglas. Project value - £550,000.00

Hilton, Cambridge

Radford Group have been awarded the first 2 phases of the refurbishment works to the Cambridge city hotel, a Hilton hotel. Phase one works were completed in early 2016, and included refurbishment and upgrade of accessible rooms, as well as upgrade works to several key back-of-house areas of the hotel. Working in a live environment takes strong communication between our construction team and the hotel on a day-to-day basis. On the strength of the successful completion of the works we have recently been appointed to create a new gym facility, executive lounge, public toilets and further improvement to the back-of-house and operational areas of the hotel.

Hotel Chocolat, York

Radford Group were proud to have been appointed as main contractor for the construction of the new Hotel Chocolat store in York city centre. The project was located within a grade 2 listed building in the historic Stonegate Street.

Works included a new raised floor to create a level platform, all new M&E services, new wall linings, ceilings decorations, finished off by the installation of high end joinery, designed to suit the company brand.

Works were carried out over a 5 week duration.

Hotel Chocolat, Market Street

In our continued relationship with Hotel Chocolat we were asked to act at short notice in October 2015 to work alongside Hotel Chocolat and their design teams to design & build a new store prior to Christmas.

Our team worked tirelessly and completed the project in November following the full design, approvals and construction period.

Hotel Chocolat, Manchester Picadilly Station

Radford Group were appointed as main contractor for Hotel Chocolat on their new Manchester Piccadilly station store. The store is located on the concourse of Piccadilly station and was logistically challenging.

The store was delivered within a 2 week period with full Network Rail approval.

Hotel Chocolat, Arndale

Radford Group were appointed for the relocation of Hotel Chocolat’s busiest store early in 2016.

The construction of the new store took place over a 5 week period that included strip out of the existing unit, full fit out, new frontages and structural alterations.

On completion of the new store the existing store was carefully dismantled over a 48 hour duration.

Hotel Chocolat, Regent Street

Radford group were appointed in May 2015 to fit out Hotel Chocolat’s flagship store on Regent Street. The 900 sq ft store was fitted out over a 4 week duration including a floor screed build up, new incoming electrical supplies, full fit out and new awning in accordance with the conservation area guidelines.

This was our first fit out for Hotel Chocolat and has been the basis for a strong ongoing relationship.

Hotel Chocolat, Cambridge

Radford Group were appointed to work on Hotel Chocolat’s most exciting project: the relocation of their Cambridge store into the recently completed Grand Arcade shopping centre.

The project also included the introduction of a dynamic cocoa bar café delivering hot chocolates, coffees and snacks. The new concept saw all new finishes to the café areas of the store from charred timber to chevron flooring.

Radford Group worked very closely with the design team and client to ensure a considered and cost-effective solution was found.

The store was located across a 2000 sq ft ground floor location with a further back-of-house area located within the basement.

Vital Ingredient, Gresham Street, London

Radford Group were pleased to have been appointed to carry out the first two of a new programme of projects following a tender process.

Gresham Street is located over two floors with the introduction of a new structural steel staircase, damp proofing works, newly screeded floor build up to the basement along with the new fit out specification which include cedar plank wall claddings, blackened steel finishes, all new furniture and working alongside the specialist catering suppliers.

Vital Ingredient, Middlesex Street, London

Conversion from an existing redundant retail outlet to accommodate the specific operating requirements of our client.

Situated on a busy one way street in Central London, this scheme included significant demolition of existing structures and erection of new partitions and ceilings together with a complete turn key fit out package to basement and ground floor areas. We have supplied bespoke joinery and decorative finishes to achieve the appropriate brand aesthetics as required and delivered a full mechanical and electrical installation.

South Point House

The scheme involves the conversion of offices into 37 luxury self-contained residential flats. Logistically this scheme is complex due to a number of reasons. The ground floor is occupied by various retailers and these businesses must remain in operation whilst the works are undertaken above. The project programme is 42 weeks.

Rosebery House, Epsom

Rosebery House is a change of use project from an existing brick office block into 30 one, two and three bed apartments and a ground floor commercial showroom area on the main high street in Epsom.

Part of the project includes 2 new matching brick extensions to the rear of the building, gated vehicle access to resident car parking and new building frontage.

Greek Street

The scheme involves the conversion of an existing basement to 4th floor 3,600sf building into four residential flats, with ground floor and basement commercial space. The project programme is 30 weeks.

68 Halliford Street

The scheme comprises the new build construction of an additional storey of residential apartments on top of an existing three storey building and the construction of a tiered four storey CLT structural timber block of apartments containing five, two bedroom flats.

The development will follow the Mayor of London’s “London Plan” 2011 when assessing the energy and sustainability and will Achieve Code for sustainable homes level4.

Indigo Brighton

A 98 room boutique hotel for IHG set within the New England quarter of Brighton’s historic lanes just outside of Brighton’s train station.

The hotel is of traditional concrete frame construction with basement level and a steel top floor with a brown roof and expansive glazing. Adjoining the hotel is a 5 story steel frame construction office building facing directly onto Brighton station.

The buildings are conjoined and at basement level there is an under croft giving access to back of house and car parking to the hotel.

To accommodate the Hotel and office a new high voltage switch room was constructed within the plaza which gives access to Brighton Station and provides a pedestrian entrance into both the hotel and office at ground level.
